Oh Boy - another great post. AI agents are part of what makes me an AI optimist - seeing those in hyper useful copilot roles. I would like a research agent, as research is by far my biggest use case for AI.

Recommendation: 1984 is Orwell's most famous work of course. "Down and Out in Paris and London" is epic and fantastic and still *so* relevant to our current times. Slice of Amazon's description for it: "Down and Out in Paris and London follows the journey of a writer among the down-and-out in two great cities. Without self-pity and often with humor, this novel is Orwell at his finest—a sobering, truthful protrayal of poverty and society."

Finally, thank you so much for ruining my weekend with the 2084 piece :)

Did not try to ruin your weekend. Just food for thought as we are entering some dangerous territory very rapidly. Will check "Down and Out in Paris and London." Thanks for recommending it.

On another note, would you be willing to collaborate on a post or chat?

Cool. I have been thinking about wanting to do video chats on a few different topics for a few weeks now. Made a little shortlist of people I'd like to do that with. You're on it.
