No Crypto Super Bowl Ads
Last year, the super bowl LVI, better known as the “Crypto Bowl” had Coinbase, Crypto.com, and FTX (you know how that’s going) among other crypto ventures shelling an average of $7 million per 30-second commercial plus production costs to advertise their services. They spent a combined $54 million dollars (Our last year's report about the crypto bowl).
Some of these platforms paid big bucks to hire the likes of Lebron James, Matt Damon, Larry David, and Tom Brady to entice people to open accounts and invest in crypto.
This year, well… No Super Bowl ads at all, and I believe it was a good thing. The technology behind cryptocurrencies (blockchain) is an amazing advance that aims to provide decentralization, immutability, traceability, and security of the records stored. But not all the players in the industry can be trusted. There are too many protocols in the space that promise unsustainable lofty results and all of them need investors.
Following a year of crypto price collapses and a wave of industry bankruptcies, and frauds, plus layoffs rather than the promise of expansion it is better to build strong crypto platforms, have comprehensive regulation that propels innovation while protecting investors and build trust in the industry before we promote an industry that has a fractured reputation.
⌨️ It’s all about Prompts
A few weeks ago we re-shared a guide with 100+ AI tools you can start using today. Today we put together a short list of tools you can use to get the most our ChatGPT and other AI platforms.
Promptbase - Marketplace to find top prompts, produce better results, save on API costs, and sell your own prompts.
PromptHero.com - Search millions of art images by AI models like DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, and more.
OpenAI Art - Search 10M+ of AI art and prompts generated by DALL·E 2, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion
Krea.ai - Explore millions of AI-generated images and create collections of prompts.
Spellbox.ai - Create the code you need from simple prompts. Solve your toughest programming problems with AI in seconds.
Dust.tt - Design and Deploy Large Language Model Apps. Prompt engineering, re-imagined.
GPTprompter.com - Chrome extension to get a fast explanation of the selected text.

🪙 AI Tokens are all the craze
AI coins are cryptos that use artificial intelligence to improve the user experience, scalability, and security of blockchain networks. Crypto AI coins support AI projects like decentralised marketplaces, market predictions, and portfolio management. AI-powered tokens can also give governance rights to their holders and for transactions. AI can be trained to spot illicit activities, market trends, investment opportunities, and other applications.
This coins are extremely volatile, so we suggest you really do your own research and think twice before investing into any of these tokens. Some have been increasing in value exponentially at a rapid pace, while others will not live up to their promises.
Some of the most interesting AI tokens in circulations are:
Fetch.ai - Artificial intelligence (AI) lab building an open, permissionless, decentralized machine learning network with a crypto economy. Fetch.ai democratizes access to AI technology with a permissionless network upon which anyone can connect and access secure datasets by using autonomous AI to execute tasks that leverage its global network of data. The Fetch.AI model is rooted in use cases like optimizing DeFi trading services, transportation networks (parking, micro mobility), smart energy grids, and travel.
Graph GRT - Indexing protocol for querying data for networks like Ethereum and IPFS, powering many applications in both DeFi and the broader Web3 ecosystem. Anyone can build and publish open APIs, called subgraphs, that applications can query using GraphQL to retrieve blockchain data. There is a hosted service in production that makes it easy for developers to get started building on The Graph and the decentralized network will be launching later this year. The Graph currently supports indexing data from Ethereum, IPFS and POA, with more networks coming soon.
Ocean - It allows publishers to monetize their content while preserving privacy and control, whereas consumers can now access datasets that were previously unavailable or difficult to find. These datasets can be discovered on the Ocean Market, where they can be purchased and later consumed or sold.
Oasis Network - Oasis is the leading privacy-enabled and scalable layer-1 blockchain network. It combines high throughput and low gas fees with secure architecture to provide a next-generation foundation for Web3 and will power DeFi, GameFi, NFTs, Metaverse, Data tokenization and Data DAOs.
🦿The Dark side of ChatGPT and AI bots
On stage, ChatGPT has become the champion of Artificial Intelligence and became it took the app only 5 days to reach 1 million users, while it took Facebook and Instagram several months to reach the 1 million mark.
ChatGPT has become the representation of a technological leap unlike any other. In a world where artificial intelligence was once seen as a far-off dream, ChatGPT has brought us closer to a future where machines can truly understand and respond to human language. A major milestone in the development of artificial intelligence and has the power to change the way we interact with technology in ways we never imagined. As we move forward, I have no doubt that ChatGPT will continue to evolve and become even more advanced, leading us into a future filled with limitless possibilities.
BUT, there is a negative side to it. One major concern is that ChatGPT's vast knowledge base, which it has accumulated through its interactions with humans and the internet, can be used to spread false or misleading information.
With its ability to generate highly convincing responses, it could be used to perpetuate hoaxes and conspiracy theories, causing harm to individuals and society as a whole.
Another issue is the potential for ChatGPT to be used for malicious purposes, such as impersonating people online, phishing for sensitive information, or even influencing public opinion for political gain. This could have serious implications for privacy, security, and the stability of social and political systems.
Additionally, as ChatGPT continues to learn from its interactions with humans, it's possible that it could develop biases and unethical values. For example, it might perpetuate harmful stereotypes or make decisions that are unjust or unethical.
In conclusion, while ChatGPT has the potential to greatly enhance our lives, it's important to be aware of its potential dangers and to carefully consider how it is used and regulated. AI researchers and developers have a responsibility to ensure that AI systems are developed and used in an ethical and responsible manner.
Love this piece about Artificial intelligence. Its amazing how much it has come these few months and what more is to come. Good job, Yaro!
I run a web3 news substack for underrepresented creators called Facesofweb3. Would you be open to a recommendation exchange? Our subscribers need to be able to find each other!
Good job, once again!
This is great, thank you.
